Open House! Saturday, February 22, 10-12pm and 2-3_30 “Mommy and Me”
CountrySide Montessori School will host two Open House events on Saturday February 22nd.
The first Open House is scheduled from 10:00-12:00 pm, and Ms. Hanne Gottschalk, AMI Guide and owner of school will offer a presentation on the collective exercises with the golden beads and number cards, showing Addition and Multiplication with 4-digit numbers. This is typical math work that mostly Kindergarten age children and even some younger children enjoy doing! You will find this fascinating! Parents can volunteer to be the students!
All parents are welcome to join us for either the first or the second open house, or for both, if you so wish!!!
The second Open House “Mommy and Me” is scheduled from 2:00-3:30 (half an hour shorter than advertised due to the day’s busy open house schedule!) During this time, new moms and dads enjoy interacting with one another and help their children to become acquainted with our Montessori environment. Ms. Hanne will give insights into the Montessori pedagogy and present a few short lessons, accompanied by interesting explanations relating to each lesson.
These open house events are casual and relaxed, with pretzels and fruit to enjoy! If we have good weather, we will gather outside for some bubble blowing fun with the children! Come and join us! We’d love to see you at CountrySide Montessori School!
