CountrySide Holiday Traditions!

We held our Holiday Family Celebration at the beautiful clubhouse at Sterling on the Lake! Everyone was delighted by the children’s songs and the festivities! December is a time of celebrating the holidays and learning about different traditions from other cultures. The children loved our Latkes with applesauce, and they enjoyed gingerbread cookies from Germany. Cracking nuts was a favorite holiday activity!! In addition, Ms. Rodica shared several folk items from Romania with us, and Ms. Hanne brought a “Weihnachtspyramide” from East Germany along with other handmade holiday treasures from her native Germany. The children showed great interest in these unique presentations! “Frohe Weihnachten” to all! Happy holidays and a Happy New Year!
