Our Mothers’ and Grandmothers’ evening was enjoyed by all! The rooms were buzzing with happy chatter! Fanciful Valentines were exchanged on Valentine’s Day! As a special treat, Layla’s grandmother made delicious pastries from Afghanistan for us! Thank you! The baby chicks were another source of joyful learning as one can see from the photos! The children had just as much fun with their work at school; preparing food, matching art cards, working with large numbers and golden beads and playing “games” involving color tablets, the solid geometry forms, as well as being engaged in “intelligent experimentation” with the pink tower.
