National AMI Re-Accreditation Visit Successful!
We are so pleased to announce that our re-accreditation visit went very smoothly and was a big success! A great big note of thanks to my wonderful assistants and our great parents and children for all helping to make this coveted goal of AMI accreditation possible. We also thank Mr. Gary Goodwin, the representative of AMI and examiner, who was most gracious and offered additional suggestions and insight.
Only 200 of 5000 Montessori schools in the United States are AMI accredited. It is the most difficult endorsement and highest accreditation among Montessori Schools. AMI stands for Association Montessori Internationale, the organization founded by Dr. Maria Montessori herself, the organization dedicated to continuing the true Montessori Methodology as set forth by Dr. Maria Montessori.
